I agree with this 100%.

This felt more like a not-so-humble-brag in the faces of newbies. I see what you did there, towards the end. It’s when someone realizes that they’ve just been on a rant and probably discouraged so many hopes and dreams, and for fear of being perceived as bad, a rope is then thrown out to sea.

I agree with this 100%. Many of us “newbies” write daily, and create great content. We write because we love it, not for the money..
