I had postpartum ocd and I got off of Effexor which was really hard and then klonopin. Although I haven’t Taken it in weeks , I still have it in my medicine cabinet , I’m not able to throw it out. It’s like a security blanket, and I only took a .25 when I needed it to sleep ! I can’t imagine taking a large amount daily or taking it for several years. I have heard it’s like a heroin withdrawal to come off of benzodiazepines.
